NEW MOON!

alright ladies! it is fast approaching. that's right. a new moon party!

we have 56 days left (which seems so close because I have been counting down since... over 200 days..LOL) until the movie is released.

I have a couple of things plans so far, but before I get too ahead of myself we need to decide on a date. So get your calendars out and see what day would be best for you guys. We can do it whenever. Friday night. Saturday. Sunday. whatevs. I know some of you drive to head back home so I am letting yall decide.

I am VERY VERY excited about planning this (and of course the movie)!! I do love a theme. :)

wal mart update

I called walmart to make sure that they will have both the standard edition (1 disc) and the special edition (2 disc), and they are! *whew* they have only been advertising the 1 disc on the commericals so I wanted to be absolutely sure!
I also asked about any party, and she said as of right now there is nothing extra planned other than brining out the dvds and selling them. Hah! She said maybe to check back later this week to see if something else is planned.

Event at Wal*Mart

I called the Wal Mart on 411 today. I talked to a girl who said that the vendor came today and was telling them about the giveaways - tee shirts, stickers, etc. She didn't know much other than that and that they would begin selling the dvd right after midnight. She also didn't know about if you had to play games or anything for the giveaways. I will probably call up there later and ask again to see if they know anymore.

I also went on a search for ravioli! I sadly did not find any mushroom ravioli that was premade/frozen. BUT- I did find some beef ravioli, so that's what we will be having. :)

I also went on a search around wal mart today. My earlier idea with the frames - I couldn't find any landscape oriented frames... just the protrait ones. So, I am trying to think of something else we can do.

Salad

I talked with Anna on Monday, and she suggested (just like Sheena did- great minds think alike) about having salad (for those of you who eat green stuff) & bread along with dinner.

Even though Anna hasn't read New Moon , I wanted to post this anyway! I posted it on facebook too.

I was delievering payroll today at Zorbas and this car pulled in behind me. A yellow sports car with the tag that reads "Alice C". *GASPS* How funny is that?!?! hahahah

Events for the Evening

A rundown of the evening thus far:

• Pictures- wear black, grey, or purple.
• Dinner- mushroom ravioli
• Crafts, eating, hanging out- before we get the movie
• The DVD- okay, as of right now the wal mart in Cedartown is not doing anything for the dvd release. i went and asked a lady in customer service and she just looked at me and said "What's a Twilight?...is that about those vampires?" haha BUT I have looked up on Wal Mart's website that the store on 411 IS in fact having some kind of little celebration with giveaways [aka freebies and fun!!]

Things to bring:

Sheena asked if this was a spend the night type of deal. It totally is if you want it to be!! You are more than welcome to stay the night. We can all bunk in my room. Anna, if you can bring you airmattress just in case. We can rearrange my room and squeez in there! I would say we could just pass out in the living room, but I always feel awkward when Kayla and Brandon fall asleep in there and I have to walk through in the mornings. But yall are always welcome to stay!!!

FOOD:

I am going to make you guys dinner ;) [even if it isn't mushroom ravioli! I am hoping to find some pre-made ravioli so I can just make the sauce]

I will also make cakemuffins for us to munch on.

if one of you guys will bring Popcorn, that'd be great!
any other snacks you guys want, bring them! Just leave a comment so everyone will know and also so I can post it on here.

Drinks:

I will have water, coffee, red crystal light and some dr.pepper. anything else yall want, please bring.

Crafts:

I didn't want to give it away but how would you guys know what to bring or do?!

So I found this on an etsy site [esty is the most incredible site to find handmade items for sell! I LOVE IT!] where this lady made a post it note holder out of a clear plastic frame. [here's the link to the site] Since we are taking pictures, I thought this might be a cute idea! Make our own frames to put our new pictures in!! I will go to Wal*Mart and price check the frames. I have some different things we can use, but if yall have anything yall might want to use feel free to bring it!

I am totally making mine a Twilight Theme because I think it would be cute :)
